Systematic Inc. and ScenarioAI Ltd. have forged a collaboration aimed at elevating wargaming and decision-support systems for military operations. According to the announcement, the partnership blends Systematic’s command-and-control platform with ScenarioAI’s AI-based scenario generation tools to offer more dynamic, data-rich simulations.

The project centers on linking Systematic’s SitaWare Headquarters software with ScenarioAI’s IDEA (Integrated Data-Enabled Analysis) engine. This integration is designed to enable automated, real-time generation of complex, multi-domain operational scenarios—encompassing land, sea, air, and joint operations—for use in decision planning, training, and doctrine development.

In their statement, the companies confirmed that a live demonstration is slated for the upcoming Association of the United States Army (AUSA) exposition in Washington, D.C., scheduled for October 13–15, where attendees will have the opportunity to see the IDEA tool in action within the Systematic booth.

The partnership builds on progress made since July 2024, when Systematic and ScenarioAI first showcased integration between IDEA and SitaWare for NATO’s simulation efforts. At that time, the systems successfully shared data structures and workflows, setting the stage for more seamless interaction.

ScenarioAI co-founder Gordon Pendleton observed that embedding AI/ML methods into scenario creation enables users to design and modify simulations on the fly, reduce the time and resource demands traditionally required for wargaming, and produce credible adversary courses of action. Meanwhile, Systematic’s Andy Roberts emphasized that linking IDEA’s generation capability with SitaWare’s mature C2 environment offers decision-makers improved situational insight and operational agility.

The partners have already previewed the joint solution at the Modern Day Marine event in Washington earlier in 2025, where the concept drew notable interest from defense and commercial observers alike. Attendees reportedly recognized the potential for using faster, AI-assisted wargaming tools to support high-stakes planning and strategic investment decisions.

Going forward, Systematic and ScenarioAI aim to further mature their integrated stack—improving automation, fidelity, and scalability—and promote deployment in both military and allied environments.
