InVeris Training Solutions has announced a new step forward in simulation technology through its partnership with Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim). According to the company’s statement, the collaboration will integrate BISim’s VBS4 platform and Blue IG image generator into InVeris’ training solutions.
The integration is designed to create more immersive and realistic environments for defense and security training. InVeris noted that the combination of its BlueFire® simulated weapons with BISim’s visual systems will enable users to rehearse missions on accurate geospatial terrains, run scenario-based exercises, and conduct after-action reviews more effectively.
As mentioned in the announcement, VBS4 is already in wide use, providing large-scale training for military organizations, while Blue IG adds realistic details such as vegetation, landscapes, and atmospheric effects. These tools will be incorporated into InVeris’ fats® 100MIL screen-based system, which can train up to 15 participants at once with access to 60 weapon simulators.
The company also highlighted that its system links with other InVeris modules, including the Xiphos Call-for-Fire/JTAC trainer, Dvorak Weapons simulators, and Haptech Electric Recoil Weapons, broadening the scope of training programs.
Clyde Tuggle, CEO of InVeris, stated that connecting to the VBS4 ecosystem allows customers to expand capabilities without duplicating resources, helping them improve training outcomes while controlling costs.
The announcement emphasized that InVeris, with decades of expertise in live and virtual training, continues to deliver solutions tailored to the needs of both defense and public safety sectors worldwide.
