According to DroneShield, the company has exceeded 4,000 systems sold worldwide, marking a major milestone in its counter-drone offerings. The company mentioned that this achievement coincides with two separate contracts from the U.S. Department of Defense, totaling $7.9 million for handheld systems. All units are expected to be delivered and paid for by the end of the fourth quarter of 2025.

DroneShield stated that these repeat orders reinforce its reputation as a trusted provider of mission-critical solutions to address growing threats from unmanned aerial systems in both military and civilian sectors. The company highlighted that its handheld solutions are part of a broader portfolio, which also includes vehicle-mounted and fixed-site systems integrated through DroneShield’s software platform.

According to Matt McCrann, CEO of DroneShield USA, reaching over 4,000 systems deployed demonstrates both the reliability of the company’s technology and the confidence placed in it by customers. He noted that the systems have proven effective in multiple operational environments.

The press release also mentioned that more than 2,200 RfPatrol units have been manufactured in Australia under strict quality assurance standards and have already been utilized in various high-profile programs. DroneShield emphasized that its SaaS-based AI software provides regular firmware updates to keep systems optimized for current threat environments.
