Drone Defence has been awarded a grant by the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA), according to the company. The grant marks a collaboration with the UK Ministry of Defence on a project that supports enhancing the nation’s sovereign capability and improving resilience in the face of evolving threats.

While full details of the project are not yet public, Drone Defence stated that it aligns with the Ministry of Defence’s ambitions to strengthen national security infrastructure and develop a robust industrial base for future defence needs.

Richard Gill, CEO & Founder of Drone Defence, described the grant as a significant endorsement of both the firm’s technology vision and its strategic direction. He expressed pride in the recognition from DASA and emphasised that the company looks forward to sharing more on the project in due course.
