DZYNE Technologies announced that, together with its Australian partner HIFraser, it has secured a multi-million-dollar contract to supply Dronebuster® DTIM Kits to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) as part of the LAND 156 Phase 1 program. According to the company, the contract was formally revealed by Australia’s Minister for Defence Industry, The Hon. Pat Conroy MP.

The LAND 156 initiative is focused on introducing a layered Counter-Uncrewed Aerial System (C-UAS) capability for ADF personnel. HIFraser selected DZYNE’s Dronebuster DTIM Kit to provide frontline forces with an adaptable, soldier-portable tool designed for rapid drone threat response.

According to DZYNE, the Dronebuster DTIM Kit enables operators to detect, track, identify, and defeat small drones. It supports omnidirectional RF detection across the 400 MHz to 6 GHz spectrum, offers several tracking modes such as Remote ID, AeroScope™, and RF direction-finding, and integrates AI-assisted identification. The system can neutralize threats with non-kinetic methods including RF jamming and disruption of navigation signals.

The announcement highlighted that the kit is handheld, wearable, and rugged, making it suited for deployment in austere conditions. It can operate either as a stand-alone solution or as part of a broader layered defence architecture.

DZYNE noted that the Dronebuster DTIM has already been adopted by U.S. and allied forces worldwide, with over 2,500 units delivered across 50 countries. George Schwartz, EVP of Products at DZYNE, stated that the collaboration with HIFraser reflects Australia’s commitment to providing its forces with a resilient and mission-ready counter-drone capability.
