Swedish drone technology firm Airolit has announced its expansion into Finland as part of its strategic growth in the Nordic region. According to the company, this move aims to strengthen its presence and enhance its role in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector.

Airolit stated that Christoffer Segercrantz has been appointed as Country Manager for Finland and the Baltic States. With extensive experience in the fire service, police, military, and public sectors, Segercrantz will lead the establishment of Airolit’s Finnish operations and drive business development across the Baltic region.

The company emphasized that its UAV systems are developed and manufactured in Sweden to operate in extreme weather conditions, carry out complex missions, and meet stringent information security standards. Airolit said the expansion is intended to support a more integrated Nordic defense approach with locally developed UAV solutions.
