Impulse Space has announced a new multi-launch agreement with Infinite Orbits, a France-based in-orbit services provider. According to the companies, the deal will see Infinite Orbits deploying several spacecraft to geostationary orbit (GEO) beginning in 2027 through Impulse Space’s Caravan program.
The agreement covers the launch of at least three satellites in 2027, with more missions to follow in subsequent years. Infinite Orbits noted that these deployments will include life-extension servicers as well as micro-satellites for inspection and surveillance.
Impulse Space explained that the Caravan program operates by placing satellites into low Earth orbit aboard a Falcon 9 and then using its Helios orbital transfer vehicle to carry payloads to GEO or other higher-energy orbits in less than a day. The first Caravan mission is already scheduled for 2026, laying the groundwork for these follow-on launches.
Impulse Space stated that the agreement reflects the program’s original goal of enabling rapid and dependable access to GEO for both commercial and government clients. Infinite Orbits added that the collaboration highlights the value of international partnerships to meet growing demand for in-orbit services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
