Vector, a defense technology company, has announced that it has secured a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM). According to the announcement, the agreement involves providing drones, integration services, and other capability delivery solutions to support SOCOM’s operational needs.
The company mentioned that this partnership reflects SOCOM’s focus on strengthening technological capabilities and maintaining a competitive edge in modern military operations.
Andy Yakulis, CEO and co-founder of Vector, emphasized that the award demonstrates the trust SOCOM places in Vector and highlights the company’s commitment to delivering innovative and high-quality solutions to support warfighters.
According to the announcement, Vector recently launched the Hammer, the first-to-market first-person view (FPV) drone with fiber optic integration, designed for large-scale production at the company’s Utah facility. Vector also highlighted its recognition from the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering’s Top Gun Trophy for leadership in advancing defense technology.
