Spanish defense technology company Arquimea is showcasing its full range of multi-domain loitering munition systems at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition in London. According to the company, its portfolio covers land, sea, and air platforms, reinforcing its position as a leading European developer of smart loitering technologies.
Arquimea is presenting the Q-SLAM-100, a medium-range loitering system designed for missions requiring up to 120 minutes of flight and a 4 kg payload. The company mentioned that the system integrates DeepArq, an AI platform that enables autonomous collaboration, situational awareness, real-time risk assessment, object identification, and decision-making during missions.
For short-range operations, Arquimea highlighted the Q-SLAM-40, a lightweight loitering system already in operational use. It is portable by a two-person team, can be deployed within five minutes, and operates in GPS-denied environments with piloted flight mode for mission control and safe aborts. The Q-SLAM-40 is suitable for reconnaissance, surveillance, target acquisition, and damage assessment.
Arquimea also introduced the Grifo, a modular multi-launcher carrying five Q-SLAM-40 units mounted on a DUMA 8×8 Spectre unmanned vehicle. According to the company, this system increases operational flexibility, tactical capability, and collaborative mission efficiency, including compatibility with anti-drone jamming systems.
For naval applications, Arquimea unveiled the S-WISE, an underwater loitering system capable of intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and target neutralization. The company stated that S-WISE can operate autonomously for up to 24 hours, travel more than 85 nautical miles at speeds exceeding 9 knots, and incorporate edge computing and Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) for enhanced mission performance.
Lastly, Arquimea presented SkyBlock, a single-operator anti-drone system designed to disrupt drone communications and improve operational security in counter-drone missions.
According to Arquimea, its participation at DSEI 2025 demonstrates its ongoing commitment to innovation and technological leadership, offering a comprehensive suite of loitering and unmanned systems to meet modern military needs across multiple domains.
