VRAI has launched VADE, an Extended Reality (XR) platform designed to improve mission briefing and rehearsal, according to the company. VADE delivers immersive 3D visualizations of complex operational environments, helping commanders understand scenarios quickly, make informed decisions, and plan effectively.

The company mentioned that VADE was developed in close collaboration with military end-users and leverages advanced technologies including XR headsets, Unreal Engine, and 3D geospatial data. The platform has been trialed as part of Project THEIA in cooperation with the UK Ministry of Defence’s jHub, demonstrating its potential to support rapid operational planning.

Niall Campion, VRAI’s Managing Director for Product & Customers, highlighted that VADE complements the company’s existing HEAT platform, which focuses on human performance visualization. He noted that VADE reduces cognitive load and provides clear situational awareness, improving operational effectiveness.

VRAI also emphasized that VADE’s deployment reinforces its ongoing partnerships with defense organizations and companies in Europe, underscoring the company’s commitment to enhancing military planning and rehearsal capabilities with immersive simulation technology.
