Skyports Drone Services has partnered with Quantum Systems to introduce ‘Overwatch,’ a new drone-based surveillance service designed for both government and commercial applications. This collaboration was announced at the DSEI UK 2025 exhibition.

The Overwatch service combines Quantum Systems’ advanced unmanned aerial platforms with Skyports’ expertise in regulatory approvals, flight operations, and mission delivery. This partnership enables clients to access sophisticated surveillance and inspection capabilities without the need for significant upfront investment.

Targeted use cases for Overwatch include maritime surveillance, border control, linear asset inspection, and pollution monitoring. Compared to traditional helicopter operations, drones offer faster intelligence gathering, cost-effectiveness, and a lower carbon footprint, all while being deployable remotely and on short notice.

Skyports has already initiated operations with Quantum Systems’ Vector AI drone, conducting test and training flights in preparation for broader deployment across the EMEA region. The service will be available globally, leveraging Skyports’ operational presence in the US, Europe, Australia, Singapore, and other regions.

Alex Brown, Director of Skyports Drone Services, highlighted the increasing demand for drone surveillance across various sectors, noting that Overwatch provides a turnkey solution delivering trusted intelligence when and where it’s needed.

Martin Karkour, Chief Revenue Officer at Quantum Systems, emphasized that the partnership strengthens their UK presence by leveraging local capabilities and infrastructure to deliver superior unmanned intelligence solutions.

Vito Tomasi, Managing Director UK at Quantum Systems, expressed pride in the company’s commitment to the UK, stating that Overwatch exemplifies their investment in the UK’s sovereign capabilities and the future of unmanned intelligence delivered from UK soil.
