SH Group has announced an agreement with the US Coast Guard under the Foreign Comparative Testing program to supply its Cube™ Mission Modules and Cube™ System Remote Operated Twistlocks for integration aboard the USCGC Storis, a commercially procured icebreaker operating in Alaskan waters, according to the company.
The company mentioned that this deal represents a significant step in introducing Danish modular defense technology to the US maritime domain. The Cube™ System allows for rapid capability upgrades and flexible mission configurations, enhancing operational adaptability.
SH Group highlighted the role of the Danish Embassy in Washington D.C. in fostering collaboration and strengthening dialogue between Danish and American defense stakeholders. The post also noted a recent visit to SH Group in Svendborg by His Royal Highness Brigadier General Prince Joachim, the Defence Industry Attaché, and Commander SG Dennis Vad, demonstrating growing interest in Danish defense technologies and the potential for transatlantic cooperation.
