Subsea Europe Services (SES) has announced its entry into the uncrewed surface vessel (USV) market with the launch of the C-RECON 13-ES, a sustainable high-performance vessel.

According to SES, the 4-meter, all-electric vessel features a carbon-fiber design and a 200 kg payload capacity, making it deployable from small boats, marinas, or directly from shore. The company mentioned that the battery-powered propulsion enables environmentally safe operations, supporting sustainable offshore activities.

The C-RECON 13-ES integrates SES’s C-KONTROL technology for streamlined sensor and payload management. Additional features include the C-Lock quick-mount deck system, C-Fit underwater payload interface, and C-Caster profiling winch, designed to simplify vessel setup and enhance survey efficiency.

Sören Themann, CEO of SES, highlighted that the C-RECON 13-ES exemplifies the company’s approach to combining autonomous platforms with integrated payload solutions, training, and support services. The vessel is expected to enter service in early 2026, marking SES’s strategic expansion into the USV sector.
