ICEYE has announced the commercial availability of its fourth-generation Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite, Gen4. This new satellite offers the highest-resolution commercial SAR imagery to date, with a 16 cm resolution and an expanded 400 km high-resolution coverage area. The increased coverage allows for more images per orbital pass, facilitating faster monitoring of priority areas.

Designed for large-scale deployment, the Gen4 satellite can capture up to 500 images per day, with imaging and downlink capabilities of up to 700 Mbps, enabling near real-time monitoring. The enhanced imaging capabilities are particularly beneficial for defense and intelligence applications, providing improved situational awareness and decision-making support.

ICEYE‘s Gen4 satellites are available for purchase as fully sovereign capabilities, not subject to ITAR control, and can be launched and operational within 12 months, including ground segment, training, and software updates.
