Helsing, a leading European defence technology firm, has announced a strategic partnership with ARX Robotics, a foremost European provider of unmanned, software-defined ground systems. According to the press release, the two organizations will collaborate to create an AI-powered network designed for both reconnaissance and strike operations in land domains.
The alliance aims to transform and digitize the traditionally analog and fragmented land sector, enabling armed forces to operate with greater speed, accuracy, efficiency, and at extended ranges. The partnership is expected to significantly enhance battlefield effectiveness for European defence forces.
Both companies bring expertise backed by real-world use in Ukraine, where networked technologies in the land domain have already played a critical role in combat operations. The collaboration will extend to joint initiatives in the United Kingdom and Germany, among other locations.
Gundbert Scherf, Co-CEO of Helsing, remarked that ARX’s capabilities in unmanned ground systems complement Helsing’s mission to safeguard European democracies through technological superiority. Marc Wietfeld, CEO of ARX Robotics, added that the partnership with Helsing positions them to deliver significant technological advances across the European defence space, with notable projects planned in the UK, Germany, and Ukraine.
