Skyeton‘s Raybird unmanned aerial system (UAS) has successfully completed its inaugural flight in Germany, demonstrating its capabilities during a recent defense technology conference. The demonstration took place at the 3rd TechHub SVI Network Conference, an event organized by Sicherheit bei Bayern Innovativ.
According to the company’s announcement, the Raybird UAS was operated live from Erding Air Base. The aircraft executed a mission lasting nearly five hours, flying continuously over Bavaria. An audience of over 400 attendees observed the operation, which showcased the system’s ability to deliver high-quality, real-time imagery in simulated defense situations. The demonstration covered the entire operational cycle, from launch to a successful parachute recovery.
The post described the event as a significant showcase for the company. It was mentioned that Skyeton is currently working to broaden its footprint within the European Union and aims to provide its battle-tested technology, which was developed and is utilized in Ukraine, to partners aligned with NATO.
In the announcement, Skyeton expressed its gratitude to the organizers and partners for the chance to display a portion of the Raybird’s full capabilities. The company also conveyed its appreciation for the opportunity to connect with professionals dedicated to advancing defense, security, and resilience in Europe through technological innovation.
