German unmanned aerial systems manufacturer Quantum-Systems has officially presented its new digital platform, named Mosaic-UXS, within Ukraine. According to a report from Militarnyi, this innovative system is engineered to coordinate and manage a diverse range of unmanned systems, regardless of their type or manufacturer.

The unveiling was detailed by Oleksandr Berezhnyi, the Managing Director of Quantum-Systems’ Ukrainian branch. The article mentioned that the Mosaic-UXS platform is designed with the potential for integration with existing positioning, battle management, and situational awareness systems, such as the “Delta” system currently utilized by Ukrainian forces. This would facilitate the control of unmanned assets across various organizational and military command levels.

Berezhnyi noted that the company is actively advancing its software development in response to a significant demand for efficient management of varied systems through a single, unified interface. He likened the concept to a “Starcraft” for military operations, where a single control panel can monitor and direct all system elements simultaneously. The article states this is crucial for Quantum-Systems, as it also helps to integrate their own family of unmanned vehicles.

The report suggests that this new system has the potential to substantially improve the drone operational capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces by providing effective control across different echelons. Furthermore, it was highlighted that Quantum-Systems’ own drones, like the Vector reconnaissance UAV which is already in active use by Ukrainian forces, can be seamlessly incorporated into the Mosaic-UXS platform.
