Argo Space Corp., a developer focused on space mobility and logistics, has named defense technology firm Anduril as the first customer for its highly agile spacecraft. According to a recent announcement from Argo, the collaboration will see Anduril’s sophisticated technologies integrated onto Argo’s high-deltaV vehicle for its premier launch.
The mission, which is reportedly scheduled for early 2026, will serve to demonstrate new possibilities for dynamic space operations. Argo’s “Navigator” spacecraft is set to host a variety of sensor and computational payloads provided by Anduril. The release stated that this privately funded venture will showcase how the pairing of Argo’s energetic spacecraft with Anduril’s software-defined systems can offer novel solutions for national security objectives in higher orbits.
Robert Carlisle, the Chief Executive Officer of Argo Space, mentioned that the company is honored by Anduril’s trust as Argo works to deploy next-generation space logistics capabilities. He added that the synergy between their high-performance spacecraft and Anduril’s advanced technologies will forge unprecedented capabilities throughout all orbital domains.
Representing Anduril, Gokul Subramanian, the Senior Vice President of Space and Engineering, noted that the joint effort will demonstrate a solution that bolsters their capacity to observe and react to an increasingly intricate space environment. According to the announcement, this partnership is the latest example of Anduril’s commitment to cultivating industry collaborations to create new options for the warfighter. The mission will combine Argo’s maneuverable spacecraft, which leverages unique propulsion and on-orbit refueling architecture, with Anduril’s expertise in mission autonomy and edge processing.
