Rise8 Inc., based in Tampa, Florida, has secured a firm-fixed-price contract valued at approximately $19.2 million for the “Apollo strategic funding increase,” as announced by the Department of Defense (DoD). This contract mandates Rise8 to provide deployment, management, and continuous delivery of software capabilities across various operational environments, including cloud, hybrid, and on-premises systems.

Work related to this contract will be conducted in Tampa, Florida, and El Segundo, California, with an anticipated completion date of June 30, 2027. The DoD indicated that this award was the result of a competitive acquisition process under the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program, for which only one offer was received.

At the time of the award, $6,577,587 in fiscal year 2025 research, development, test, and evaluation funds have been allocated. The Space Systems Command, located at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, California, is overseeing the contracting activity for this project.
