Anduril Industries, a prominent U.S. defense technology company, is reportedly setting its sights on the rapidly expanding Polish defense market, particularly as Poland significantly boosts its unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capabilities. This strategic interest aligns with Poland’s accelerated military modernization efforts.
According to Railly News, Anduril is exploring opportunities to establish a stronger footprint in Poland, a country actively enhancing its “Drone Force.” Brian Schimpf, the co-founder and CEO of Anduril Industries, mentioned that the company is in the early stages of evaluating various options, including potential production partnerships within Poland. Schimpf also pointed to Poland’s robust talent pool in software and manufacturing, along with the government’s decisive approach to military upgrades. The publication highlighted that Poland’s ambitious plans to acquire a wide range of unmanned systems, from smaller tactical drones to larger aerial platforms, present a compelling environment for advanced technology providers like Anduril.
