The U.S. Department of Defense has announced a $9.8 million contract modification awarded to The Survice Engineering Company LLC of Belcamp, Maryland, to produce and deliver 31 additional TRV-150C Tactical Resupply Unmanned Air Systems (UAS). The contract also includes an inspection and evaluation of a system for the Navy and Marine Corps’ Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems program.
This latest procurement continues a successful collaboration between Survice Engineering and UK-based drone innovator Malloy Aeronautics. The TRV series, including the TRV-150C, is jointly developed under a defense partnership aimed at enhancing autonomous tactical logistics capabilities.

Malloy Aeronautics is a British company recognized for its pioneering work in heavy-lift unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Based in Berkshire, UK, the company has been at the forefront of VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) drone technology. Their designs prioritize rapid deployment, modularity, and high-payload capabilities, making them ideal for both military and civilian applications.
The TRV-150C is a versatile, electric-powered UAS capable of carrying up to 68 kg (150 lbs) of payload. Designed for autonomous or manual operation in rugged environments, it supports critical resupply missions in austere or contested terrain. Features include a range of up to 70 km, quick-swap battery packs, and operational flexibility across land and sea platforms. The drone is engineered to support frontline logistics, medical resupply, and other mission-critical roles.
As the U.S. military continues to invest in autonomous logistics technologies, the TRV-150C stands out as a key asset for responsive, reliable support to distributed forces.
