Ukrainian defense company Varta has introduced its latest innovation, the DroneHunter, a mobile anti-drone system aimed at enhancing frontline airspace security.

According to The Defender, the newly presented platform is designed to detect, track, and neutralize hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), offering both mobility and flexibility for battlefield deployment. The DroneHunter is mounted on a tactical pickup truck and integrates a suite of electronic warfare technologies that allow it to disrupt and disable drones in real-time.

The system reportedly features an advanced radio-frequency detection capability coupled with jamming systems to interfere with drone communications and navigation. Its modular structure also allows for integration with other electronic or kinetic counter-UAS tools, enhancing its adaptability to different operational scenarios.

The introduction of DroneHunter reflects the growing demand for agile and cost-effective solutions to counter the widespread use of drones in modern conflict zones. Varta’s offering aims to support Ukrainian forces by mitigating the growing threats posed by surveillance and loitering munitions.
