Hyderabad-based autonomous drone defense company Indrajaal has unveiled a new division, Indrajaal Infra, dedicated to protecting critical infrastructure from the growing threat of unmanned aerial systems. The launch marks a significant step toward bolstering India’s drone security capabilities using artificial intelligence and autonomous technologies.
According to Defence Review Asia, Indrajaal Infra will focus on deploying AI-powered drone defense systems tailored for infrastructure such as airports, refineries, data centers, and power grids. The company’s technology aims to offer end-to-end protection through autonomous surveillance, detection, classification, and neutralization of rogue drones.
As noted by MSN, the system uses a blend of advanced sensors, machine learning algorithms, and deep integration capabilities to detect and respond to potential threats without requiring constant human oversight. This makes the solution highly scalable and adaptive to various high-value installations that are increasingly vulnerable to drone intrusions.
APN News highlighted that Indrajaal Infra’s solution is designed to address the rapid rise in drone-related threats, especially as commercial drone usage grows and hostile actors exploit low-cost aerial platforms. The company emphasizes its ability to deliver round-the-clock autonomous defense, reducing the burden on traditional security systems and personnel.
With drone-related incidents becoming more frequent globally, Indrajaal’s initiative positions itself as a timely and strategic move to safeguard infrastructure across both civilian and military domains. The firm is also expected to collaborate with both public and private sector stakeholders to expand deployment across key sites in India.
