Saronic, a U.S.-based developer of autonomous maritime systems, has taken significant steps to strengthen its global footprint by expanding its teams in both Australia and the United Kingdom. This strategic move aims to support growing demand for the company’s cutting-edge naval technology and to deepen its collaboration with key defense partners.

According to Asia Pacific Defence Reporter, Saronic’s expansion includes hiring experienced professionals in engineering, operations, and customer support roles. The move reflects the company’s commitment to building a strong international presence and providing localized expertise to meet the operational needs of allied nations.

In parallel with its global growth, Saronic recently introduced a new class of autonomous surface ships designed for naval missions ranging from surveillance to reconnaissance. Naval Today reported that the newly unveiled vessels combine stealthy design with advanced autonomy and sensor systems, allowing them to operate with minimal human intervention across a variety of maritime environments.

The unveiling of these vessels, along with the company’s strategic hiring efforts, highlights Saronic’s ambition to become a key player in the rapidly evolving domain of autonomous naval platforms. With these developments, the company is positioning itself to support both national and allied defense forces with innovative and agile maritime solutions.
