Tiberius Aerospace, a recently introduced player in the defense sector, has launched the Sceptre, an innovative ramjet-powered 155mm artillery round designed to deliver precision strikes at extended ranges. This new munition represents a significant advancement in artillery technology by combining enhanced range and accuracy.

According to EDR Magazine, the Sceptre round utilizes ramjet propulsion, which enables it to maintain high speeds and reach targets up to 150 kilometers away, far surpassing the capabilities of conventional artillery shells. This increased range allows for greater operational flexibility and lethality on the battlefield.

DefenceWeb highlighted that the Sceptre system is engineered to meet the demands of modern warfare by offering superior precision and effectiveness, reducing collateral damage while enhancing strike capabilities. The technology integrates advanced guidance systems to ensure accuracy against both stationary and moving targets.

Army Recognition mentioned that the Sceptre artillery round’s development marks a new era for artillery munitions, with its ramjet propulsion technology allowing extended flight endurance and improved performance. The introduction of this munition is expected to strengthen artillery units’ ability to engage targets at greater distances with high precision.

Tiberius Aerospace’s Sceptre stands as a testament to the ongoing innovation in artillery systems, providing militaries with a powerful tool to enhance their long-range strike capabilities.
